How to run VMware on Azure?
The Microsoft Azure team unveiled the Azure VMware Services, which enable you to run VMware directly on Azure. The Azure VMware solution is a managed service that allows you to operate the VMware platform on Azure.
This solution includes technologies like vSphere, vCenter, vSAN, NSX-T, and others. The VMware environment operates natively on Azure Bare Metal architecture and Azure cloud locations.
The service has every capability to use the VMware platforms safely and effectively. Microsoft provides the solution validated by VMware and operates on Azure infrastructure.
Your on-premises VMware infrastructure can be transferred to or expanded upon on Microsoft Azure. VMware workloads may be moved without a hitch to Azure and integrated with your VMware management system using your current management tools. This allows you some time to use native Azure services to update your workloads.
This broadens the range of Microsoft’s hybrid cloud solutions, including Azure Stack and Azure Stack HCI.
